En el contexto del Workshop W.A.Ve 2021 de la Università Iuav di Venezia el cual invito a reflexionar sobre el tema de las islas es que desarrolla la siguiente experiencia:
Una Isla

Robinson por qué volviste de tu isla?
De la isla de tus obras y tus sueños privados
La isla de ti mismo rica de tus actos
Sin leyes ni abdicación ni compromisos
Sin control de ojo intruso
Ni mano extraña que rompa los encantos

Una isla es una isla y hay cosas que parecen una isla.
Si las personas quieren una isla, el arquitecto ha de hacer una isla
Esto se trata de hacer una isla
De hacer lo más con lo menos
Con un material tan despreciable como una bolsa de basura

Entonces han de hacer el agua

Isla del archipiélago canario, ubicada en el Océano Atlántico, entre Tenerife al oeste y Furteventura al este. Se encuentra a unos 250 km de las costas africanas y a más de 1100 km de las ibéricas. Con una superficie de aproximadamente 1560 km2, Gran Canaria es la tercera isla más grande del archipiélago, así como la segunda en número de habitantes. La isla, de origen volcánico y configuración circular, parece caracterizarse por altas cordilleras, que llegan hasta los 1956 metros sobre el nivel del mar en el Pico de las Nieves.
Gran Canaria presenta costas generalmente abruptas y rocosas, a excepción de la región oriental, y en su superficie hay grandes calderas, como las de Tirajana y Bandama, y ​​numerosas fuentes termales.
Habitada en la antigüedad por la población indígena guanche, Gran Canaria ha sido políticamente dependiente de España desde el siglo XV.
La isla alberga la ciudad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, el área metropolitana más importante de todo el archipiélago y su capital, junto con Santa Cruz de Tenerife, de las Islas Canarias. En 2005, la UNESCO declaró el 46% de la isla Reserva de la Biosfera.

Robinson why have you returned from your island?
The island of yourself, rich in your actions
Without laws nor abdication or commitment
Without control of the intruding eye
Nor strange hand that breaks spells

An island is an island but some things look like an island.
If people want an island, the architect should make an island.

With a material as despised as a bag of rubbish.

An island in the Canary Islands archipelago, is located in the Atlantic Ocean, between Tenerife to the west and Furteventura to the east. It is located about 250 km from the African coast and over 1100 km from the Iberian coast. With a surface area of approximately 1560 square kilometres, Gran Canaria is the third largest island in the archipelago and the second largest in terms of population.
The island, of volcanic origin and circular in shape, is characterised by high mountains, reaching up to 1956 metres above sea level at Pico de las Nieves.
Gran Canaria also has a generally steep and rocky coastline, with the exception of the eastern region, and there are large calderas, such as Tirajana and Bandama, and numerous thermal springs.
Inhabited in ancient times by the indigenous Guanches, Gran Canaria has been politically dependent on Spain since the 15th century.
The island hosts the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the most important metropolitan area of the entire archipelago and the capital, together with Santa Cruz de Tenerife, of the Canary Islands. In 2005, UNESCO declared 46% of the island a Biosphere Reserve.
